Welcome to Wilbury Residential Care Home in Hove Brighton

Wilbury is a warm and friendly registered care home for the elderly, with high standards of comfort and care. We pride ourselves on providing independence, fulfilment and exceptional 24 hour care.
Our priority is that Wilbury is a happy, comfortable, safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led place for our residents, and that their relatives and friends always feel welcome and confident that we are the best place and a ‘home from home’ for their loved ones.

Living in our care home provides residents with all the assistance they require, together with companionship, stimulation and healthy home cooked food. In addition to this we will provide relatives with the security and peace of mind that someone is always there looking after their loved ones. Wilbury Care Home has a team of fantastic staff that go to great lengths to look after their residents. We pride ourselves in giving the highest standards of tailored, individual care, and ensure residents can live happy and independent lives. Our weekly activities programme ranges from keep fit sessions to quizzes, as well as outings for shopping trips and local attractions, helping to keep everyone active and engaged.

Our typical resident would require some support, some more than others, but we treat each person as an individual and promote their independence. We have the ability to support residents with early onset of Dementia or Alzheimers but we will access each residents needs before moving into Wilbury.

Wilbury’s Mission Statement

Why would you come and live with us at Wilbury?

We are a fun home with emphasis on loving life and maintaining outside interests and friends. We mainly cater for residents who no longer want to live alone, who don’t want to be bothered with the every day chores of cooking, laundry and cleaning but would rather spend time doing activities they enjoy in a safe environment with the support of our well qualified staff.

Most of our residents require some support, some more then others but we treat each one as an individual and promote their independence.

It is your choice how you spend your day, these can be spent exactly how you want them, going out with friends, continuing with your clubs or joining in the many and varied activities we provide. Evenings can be spent chatting with the other residents in our very cosy lounge, or just watching your favourite programmes on t.v.

We aim to be an extended family, which includes residents, staff, families and friends, a home where we all care about each other giving support in good times and sad times. We enjoy gatherings, parties, lunch at the pub, and we celebrate every festival and special days.

It’s not only about the care you need, but the life you want to lead.
